The ‘Reasons to Resign’ Booster Pack makes Burnout even more ruthless and chaotic. The 32-card Booster Pack includes: 8 Project Roadblock Cards: A brand new type of card that keeps you scrambling 8 Dual-Effect Scope Change Cards: A brand new type of card that adds a new layer of decision-making and strategy 4 Work Smart Cards: Now you can deflect attacks to other coworkers 8 Backstabbing Cards: New ways to get ahead of your coworkers 4 Company Announcement Cards: Introduces information asymmetry and new strategies like forming alliances and bluffing The ‘Reasons to Resign’ Booster Pack was launched along with Burnout on Kickstarter in April 2026, together securing over S$126,000 (~US$100,000). It will be delivered to backers by Q1 2027. At SPIEL Essen 2026, we will showcase the ‘Reasons to Resign’ Booster Pack and will be taking pre-orders which will be delivered by Q1 2027.

We look forward to showcasing demos of two games at SPIEL Essen 2026! 1. Burnout Burnout is a ruthless party game for 3 - 6 players about surviving work without losing your sh*t. Over six chaotic weeks, you compete with your co-workers for the only available promotion spot. Your main objective is to grow your Reputation while protecting your Mental Health. Sabotage, backstab, work smart, or go on leave … do whatever it takes to get ahead. Burnout launched on Kickstarter in April 2026 and raised over S$120,000 with support from more than 1,600 backers across 52 countries. Burnout will be available for pre‑order at SPIEL Essen 2026, with games fulfilled by Q1 2027. Demos at SPIEL Essen will be 20 minutes long. 2. Triggered Triggered is a friendship-breaking party game designed to get to know one another better. Triggered will be available for pre-order at SPIEL Essen 2026, with games fulfilled by X’Mas. Demos at SPIEL Essen will take 5 - 7 minutes long. Burnout & Triggered are designed and produced by Laughing Sticks Pte Ltd, a Singapore indie game design studio.
