Alljährlich feiert Mexiko seine Verstorbenen mit einem großen, bunten und fröhlichen Fest unter dem wohlwollenden Blick der rätselhaften Catrina. In diesem Jahr dürft ihr das Fest vorbereiten! Schmückt die Straßen eures Dorfes, lockt die Chimären an und lasst Ballons aufsteigen, um einen unvergesslichen Día de los Muertos zu gestalten. Viva Catrina ist ein strategisches Plättchen-Legespiel, bei dem jede Platzierung zählt. In deinem Zug wählst du ein Plättchen und legst es möglichst geschickt in deine stetig wachsende Dorf-Auslage. Aber sei vorsichtig: Um in die Wertung einzugehen, muss ein Element immer - durch einen gepflasterten Weg oder einem Blumenpfad - mit deinem Startplättchen verbunden sein. Der Wettstreit um begehrte Chimären, Ballonplättchen, Verkaufsstände, Altäre, Gäste und Schmetterlinge bringt eine feurige Portion Spannung mit sich. Das Spiel funktioniert wunderbar sowohl zu zweit als auch für bis zu sechs Personen.
