Die verlorenen Riunen von Arnak - Die verschollene Expedition

🇩🇪 Original in German

Let's go, Chapter 2 of the campaign. Chapter 1 was a really cool start and a lot of fun.

Nice gear you got there! I’ve never played that as a campaign. Is it cooperative then?

Yeah, exactly! It's an expansion called "The Lost Expedition" that you can play cooperatively with up to 2 players, and so far it's been really well done.

Oh yeah, I still gotta play that campaign at some point, it's still on my to-do list. But there are just so many great games and so little time. Well, maybe when I retire... :)

Seems interesting :) I recently read a review for one of the Dune Imperium expansions where it was compared to the Ruins of Arnak expansion. It sounded like they had quite a bit in common. Can they actually be compared, if you know Dune Imperium?

Yeah, the comparison is obvious. Both are worker players with deck building. But less confrontational. I love Dune and Ark Nova is really different enough, especially cooperative as a campaign.

Thanks to you too for the reply :) I got Dune Imperium as a gift a while back and have played it multiple times with 4 players and also solo. I really like it, even though the deckbuilding feels a bit too short and the rounds are too quick to actually build a proper deck. I ordered Rise of Ix and Bloodlines yesterday (in the former, they compared it to Arnak’s expansion), and I’ll probably order Immortality soon just to complete the set ^^ Even though, according to reviews, it seems to be mainly for Uprising. I’ll check out some reviews and videos for Arnak then :)

I have that at home too - unfortunately haven't started the campaign yet!

I love the game, but for some reason—can't quite put my finger on it—it's not enough to make me buy it myself. I've already played a few 4-player matches. But I totally get why it's so popular. Since it's always compared to Dune: Uprising: those are really completely different games. But I've played Uprising at least a dozen times already.

Nice game, we haven't played it in way too long.

Since we like to play cooperatively, we also bought Arnak with the expansion and we absolutely loved the campaign. I really like the artwork too. Anyway, have fun!
