Winter is coming! The fire is already burning away nicely—after all, those thick snow blocks blocking our path need to melt somehow. Our hardworking animal helpers are also raring to go, eager to finally get started. There’s so much to gather to expand our town in time for winter and make sure it survives the cold season.
And if you’re brave enough to push all the way to the highest point of the mountain peak, you might just get some help from those mysterious giant creatures.
Had a great game last night with a friend—still super fun, and this time it’s even a bit more complex. Gotta think a little harder, plan ahead, and stay sharp! :)

I think Starling Games really has a great eye for their illustrations and how they look on the table. There's always that little extra something, and the games end up winning over a lot of people.

I had pre-ordered it back then and was really excited—it was my first Everdell and I liked the theme better than, say, Farshore. But honestly, I never really got into it. That great feeling where the engine starts rolling and one thing triggers the next only ever happened in the last round, which made the first few rounds drag. Too bad, because Everdell is super popular. But it sure is gorgeous to look at!
