Played a Nemesis game for the second time today. Fully co-op, since I find semi-co-op even worse than competitive.
Unfortunately, the game didn’t quite convince me in this mode yet. Maybe not yet. Too few options, too much randomness. But the combat is well done, and it definitely nails the atmosphere.
I absolutely love that "trashy" moment in the semi-co-op mode. Especially when you end up betraying everyone else yourself and just slip away. Those are honestly the best stories this game has to offer!
I totally believe you. It might sound too cozy, but stories are my favorite thing too—though I’d much rather hear about last-second teamwork wins than tales of betrayal and sneaky plans gone right. Good thing there are games for both kinds of vibes!
That said, when you play the Untold Stories—the short co-op campaign—I don’t miss that sneaky “semi-” betrayal at all. It’s just fun in co-op and tough enough that victories taste extra sweet.
