Eldritch Horror

I was invited to a birthday party yesterday. Everyone could bring games that work for 7 people. What obviously couldn’t be missing? You guessed it, Eldritch Horror (even though I didn’t expect us to play it). To my big surprise, most people wanted to play it even though none of us knew it. So we started with explanations and setting up, and an hour and a half later we could finally begin. Even though we got overrun by monsters and portals after 3 hours, everyone had a blast. It’s still one of our absolute favorite games. And even though you end up tired and frustrated after a loss (rarely a win), the next morning you always think: "Damn, another round of Eldritch Horror."
