Nach den ebenso beliebten und erfolgreichen Varianten „Old & New“ und „Eindeutig Zweideutig“ erweitert der Wiener Spieleverlag Piatnik nun mit „Wort im Wort“ die Serie außergewöhnlicher Memos. Genau wie seine Vorgänger hat es auch diese herausfordernde Version ganz schön in sich. Es geht nämlich nicht darum, zwei völlig gleiche Bildplättchen zu finden, sondern jene mit – wie der Name schon verrät – dem Wort im Wort. Ein Paar gehört also nur dann zusammen, wenn der Begriff des einen komplett im zweiten vorkommt, wie beispielsweise „Ass“ in „Fass“. Eier-Feier, Lasche-Flasche, Ohr-Rohr und 24 weitere Paare gilt es in „Wort im Wort“ möglichst schnell zu finden. Dazu werden alle 54 Plättchen verdeckt gemischt aufgelegt. Wer an der Reihe ist, deckt nach bekannten Memo-Spielregeln zwei Kärtchen auf, sodass alle sie sehen können. Passen die Begriffe der Bilder zusammen, etwa „Asche“ und „Tasche“, dann darf man das Pärchen behalten und sein Glück gleich noch einmal versuchen. Liegen aber beispielsweise „Affe“ und „Ameise“ offen aus, werden sie wieder umgedreht und die nächste Person im Uhrzeigersinn ist an der Reihe. Sobald alle Paare gefunden wurden, endet das Spiel. Wer die meisten Plättchen erobern konnte, ist „Wort im Wort“-Champion. Der besondere Reiz dieses Memos für zwei bis sechs Personen (ab acht Jahren) liegt im geforderten schnellen Umdenken von Bild auf Begriff. Da das nicht immer ganz so eindeutig ist, finden sich alle Bilder beschriftet in der Anleitung wieder. Ein generationenübergreifender Spielspaß und zugleich eine wunderbare Möglichkeit, die grauen Zellen zu trainieren.
