ThemeCryptids
Bigfoot is real. Mothman is real. And they’re not your biggest problem. Kryptothera: The Cryptid Pursuit is a competitive PvE adventure game set in an alternative Art Deco world where the creatures of folklore are real, their power has reshaped society, and hunting them has become a path to fame, fortune and influence. Choose your hunter. Fund your expedition. Cross North and Central America in pursuit of cryptids drawn from real-world folklore. Face unpredictable events, upgrade your gear and crew, and decide how far you are willing to push your luck. Capture a cryptid and the danger is not over. You still have to make it home. And as the hunt progresses, the greatest threat may no longer be the creatures. It may be the hunters sitting around the table. Hunt. Capture. Secure. Outsmart. With 90 cryptids, 60 events, private objectives and a richly hand-drawn Art Deco world, every expedition develops differently and every decision carries risk. UKGE 2026 Awards finalist. 2–6 players · 60–90 minutes · Ages 10+ Think you know your cryptids? Sit down and join the hunt. Play Kryptothera at the NoctiLux Games stand at SPIEL Essen, explore its expansions and bundles, and receive a special event promo card with purchase of the base game, while stocks last.
