Cuba vor der Revolution: Unter turbulenten Umständen streben die Städte der Insel nach unabhängigem Wohlstand und Einfluss. Wer kauft und verkauft seine Rohstoffe und Waren auf dem Inlandsmarkt gewinnbringend oder kassiert auf den Handelsschiffen am meisten? Wer schickt einflussreiche Abgesandte ins Parlament, um die zentrale Gesetzgebung zu beeinflussen oder baut zum richtigen Zeitpunkt Schnapsbrennereien, Hotels und Banken für den Wohlstand der Bevölkerung? Das Spiel gewinnt, wer am Ende die meisten Siegpunkte gesammelt hat. Siegpunkte erhaltet ihr zum Beispiel durch das Verschiffen von Handelsgütern im Hafen, den Bau und die Nutzung von Gebäuden sowie die Umsetzung einiger Gesetze. Die Neuauflage von „Cuba“ beinhaltet die Erweiterung „El Presidente“, die nun voll ins Spiel integriert ist. Anleitung und Gebäude wurden überarbeitet und einige Regeln angepasst.
