Im antiken Rom sind die Götter mächtig, launisch und voller Intrigen. Als ehrgeizige Senatoren ist es eure Pflicht, den Pax Deorum - den heiligen Frieden mit den Göttern - aufrecht zu erhalten. Dazu entsendet ihr eure Boten in die Tempel des Pantheons, um ihnen zu huldigen und um ihre Macht für euch zu nutzen. Doch eure Rivalen verfolgen das gleiche Ziel - Zwist, Neid und falsches Spiel beherrschen das politische Parkett. Und so wird derjenige Senator siegen, der am cleversten von den Aktionen seiner Mitspieler profitiert oder diese im perfekten Moment sabotiert. Loyalty - Rome ist ein strategisches, interaktives Spiel. Die Basis bilden Götterkarten, die im Pantheon ausliegen. Es müssen Mehrheiten gebildet werden, um die Karten zu werten. Da dies obligatorisch ist, führt es dazu, dass die Auslage ständig wechselt. Götterkarten verschwinden und werden durch neue ersetzt. Hohe Interaktivität und die Notwendigkeit zu permanenter strategischer Anpassung prägen das Spiel. Loyalty - Rome ist ein ständiges Buhlen darum, die Konkurrenz zu überlisten, die klügsten Allianzen zu schmieden, um letztendlich das Pantheon zu dominieren.
