1 player solo tutorial mode tested. It’s good, naturally everything’s easier alone since no one’s blocking your path to the treasure. They’ve also helpfully left out the point counting—you just stack everything you’ve collected, and whoever has the tallest tower wins. For the solo mode, there’s a scale you can hold it against. The Carcassonne part in the game is kept pretty minimal since, on top of the starting tile, you can only get a max of 18 tiles total. So if you’re trying to build big cities here, you’re out of luck. In terms of playtime, it’s a really quick game. Though, fun fact, the Carcassonne tiles can also be slotted into a regular Carcassonne game.
