Castle Combo

When my brain is a bit fried after a long game night or I just want something quick and tasty in between, I love Castle Combo. Every round, I place a new character in my display until I fill the 3x3 grid. Each character gives me an instant effect and, at the end of the game, victory points depending on how well my combo of character cards works.
Simple rules, but not pointless. It’s infuriating when the player before me snatches the perfect card I wanted or when I can’t quite afford it. Super satisfying when you find a combo that fits perfectly.
Quick turns, fun game. And when a fellow player takes forever deciding between the Alchemist or the Gravedigger, I just enjoy the lovely card art.

Haha yeah, I know that moment when you're like "please not this card" and then someone picks exactly that card or, even worse, trades all of them... so frustrating 😅 But yeah, it's a really nice and fun game to play in between.
