Distilled

Yesterday evening, Distilled came out again. One of my favorite games. The distillation process feels very thematic. Usually, I don’t like push-your-luck elements, but here it feels fitting and can be avoided with good planning.

Gehört das passende Accessoire neben der Schachtel zum Spiel dazu? 😄

I’ve always wanted to try this out and had been thinking about promoting it in the forge for a long time. In the end, the only "Explainer Bear" who could break it down at a game weekend talked me out of it, saying it was made by fans of the theme but way too complicated and time-consuming to set up and play—we should invest our time elsewhere. 😮

Ein super game! Extremely thematic and very subtly embedded in small frame stories of the individual characters. In the gameplay, there are quite a few little details to keep in mind, so it usually only comes to the table when we're well-rested and (still) not drunk... But it's a great game to get lost in.
