Battalia

🇩🇪 Original in German

In principle, it's pretty simple: you have a deck made up of troops and items/artifacts. You play cards, like in Dominion, to build roads or cities, get new troops, or grab artifacts. There are different colors (factions) for all the cards, but they only look different—if you have 3, 4, 5, or 6 of the same color at the start of your turn, that's a "cohort" and you get to draw 2, 3, 4, or 5 extra cards. You summon your (two per player) hero figures, move them across the board, and attack neutral or player cities and heroes (which can also be done by playing cards)... There are a few more tricks, but that's the gist of it!
