We dove into the magical world today and helped our respective houses earn glory and honor with cute animal helpers and eager-to-learn young witches and wizards. The artwork was a bit overwhelming for the eyes, but otherwise, it was a blast!

Good question, we played this with friends so I can't answer it 100% for sure. But since the rods are used for the duel, I'm assuming that. It's just a question of whether the rods themselves were special or just the ones that normally come with it.

The game wasn't even on my radar before, but it looks really nice. Though the BGG rating is putting me off a bit. I should probably watch a video about it to see if it's something for us.

Oh man, that looks so cute 😍 what's been holding me back so far is that it reminds me a lot of Harry Potter. There are 4 houses, there are wizards in a magic school and you fight for your house... But I've never played it, so I can't say anything about it, maybe it plays well.

Ja it really reminds me of Harry Potter, even with the teachers and animals. We played it with four people and spent about 2-3 hours on it. It felt like it went by quickly and the downtime was pleasantly short despite four players. The symbols on the cards were unfortunately sometimes really small and hard to make out. It wouldn’t be a game I’d buy for myself, but I’d still play it again. Personally, Trickerion and The Magnificent have been better for me when it comes to magic-themed games.
