I like playing this solo because it's just a nice puzzle-y game, but it doesn't have much interaction with other players (you just take a few tiles and cards). For this solo game, I used all the extra stuff Cranio has added over the years: the alternate student board, the Italy map instead of Europe, and the Great Discoveries expansion. So now we're traveling through Italy, visiting universities and ancient sites, and trying to fill our bookshelf with knowledge and experiences.

Davon habe ich noch nie gehört, klingt interessant! Ich mag Spiele, bei denen jeder weitestgehend sein Ding macht (sein Tableau ausbaut und seine Engine perfektioniert und sich dann am besten erst ganz am Ende entscheidet, für wen das am besten funktioniert hat 😁

The game is so strong. It's just that the two "game boards" don't match up when putting them together, which kills me every time. 😀 How do you rate the value of the Great Discoveries expansion? I still have the old first edition. LG
