Intarsia

Intarsia - We're redesigning the parquet floor of a Parisian café. Tactilely, it's a really beautiful game with 150 wooden pieces. In each round, you have to stay in the game as long as possible by skillfully swapping cards to lay down as many pieces as you can.

And, how do you like it? I've also been tempted to buy it one or two times myself.

I really like it, even though I usually lose. It goes over 3 long rounds. You get a card quota at the start of each round, and you can always get parts to place and then get cards back. You have to stay in the game as long as possible with these actions to place a lot. For special patterns, you get extra points (cards from the tableau on the right side). I'd already put it in the expert game category—less suitable for younger kids.
