Game moment

Pile of shame got unpacked yesterday. Had been sitting in the closet since December, finally made it to the table. Rules took a while to learn, but playing felt pretty intuitive. Game time with 2 players for an expert game was totally doable. We really liked it, it’s coming back to the table next week. 😀

Do you often play two-player games?

Yeah, it plays super smooth and the gameplay is solid, but since I don’t dig the look and slapping stuff together here and there feels kinda pointless to me, I’d rather stick to other games at this difficulty level. 🤷

What’s your favorite right now? Even for 2 or more (4)?

Can't really say who's my current favorite—it changes all the time! We've been playing a ton of Arche Nova and Terraforming Mars together lately. Those two are always a blast. Just gotta make some time for it 😀

If you're looking for something short gameplay-wise, right now I'd go for Entropy or Dune: Imperium Uprising. But if you want something similar in feel and way prettier, I'd pick Blumenstraße. There's so much more depth in the elevated connoisseur/light expert mode these days... hopefully Wildscape fits in there too. But honestly, I'd just tack on another game session and play something like SETI, Arche Nova, or Revive.
