Game moment
Auf Achse

Hey, a coworker recently asked me if I knew this game. I’d never heard of it before and almost dismissed it as some old-school relic. But now I’m kinda curious—what do you think? Do you ever pick up those super old classics, or do older games just get the boot for you?

Sure thing! Monopoly, for example. Or Hotel, those always work!

We also like to play some old-school stuff sometimes. Like Auf Achse, Scotland Yard, or Heimlich & Co.

We’ve had "Das verrückte Labyrinth" on the table multiple times lately, and my youngest is going through a Yahtzee phase right now... gotta go with the flow!

On the Road is really funny! What still works, I think, is "By a Tire’s Width"...

Here’s the casual, friendly translation: That one and Café International are still sitting around here, though they don’t hit the table much anymore. But I still love playing both from time to time.

Does Zug um Zug already count as an older title? We don’t just pull out the later versions regularly, but also the original classic "Amerika". Otherwise, an aged title I’d love to play more often: Shogun by MB. Or: The Iron Throne and Warrior Knights 2nd Edition

I've been playing this since I was 10 and do it with my nieces and nephews. Even my almost 3-year-old loves it, especially how he can drive the trucks around and load them up in "free play" mode ;-)
