Spiel Fluxx
🇩🇪 Original in German
I discovered Fluxx on BGA and thought it was pretty fun for a quick game. But it’s barely available in German stores, and I couldn’t decide which version I liked best. So I made my own twist—Apotheken-Fluxx (I play regularly with a group of four pharmacists). Just tested it with my daughter, and Sunday’s the real trial run at our game night.
The graphics were AI-generated (please don’t stone me—I’m no artist). I pieced everything together in Photopea and hand-assembled every card (still room for improvement if I ever do this again). Overall, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
Anyone else ever DIY’d your own game variant? What was it?

That looks awesome! Great idea, I’ve never played Fluxx before. How does it work?

My post got cut off somehow. Bug? Here it is again: The graphics were made with AI (please don’t stone me—I’m not artistically gifted). I put everything together in Photopea and then manually assembled each card (still room for improvement if I do this again). I’m pretty happy with the result. I’d love to hear if any of you have ever made your own version of a game and what it was. Now to your question, Daniel: The goal is to lay out two specific cards in front of you. But the goal can change constantly. According to the basic rules, you always draw a card and then play one. But the rules can also get more complicated and change based on the cards you play. As soon as the current goal is met, the game ends immediately. So it’s a pretty fast game.
