Deduction racing game

🇩🇪 Original in German

A little racing game with remote-control cars through the living room (or out back across the playground). Each turn you move 2 of the cars and use them to collect bonuses or sometimes drive into a trap and lose something. So far so simple, but the trick is that nobody knows which of the 5 speedsters they're actually steering with their controller. You can only figure that out by looking at the other players' controllers - and deducing from their behavior which car they think they are. That's an exciting mix and an interesting new approach. In up to 3 of the other players' controllers you gradually get a peek - so right up to the finish line there are still at least 2 cars in question. When the first car crosses the finish line, the controllers are revealed. Whoever played smart has collected lots of boost tokens in the right color and moves their car forward that many extra steps. But collected stop tokens also cost steps, and only then is the final result set. As you can see in the picture, toward the end I suspected I was the red monster truck, but unfortunately I was the yellow school bus. That wasn't enough for the win.

Unfortunately it just didn't click for me. I found it way too dependent on card luck to really feel like I could control anything.

The author and topic interest me. Lots of divided opinions going around. I'll keep an eye on it.

I have that here too, but unfortunately I haven't gotten around to playing it yet. I hope it hits the table soon! :)
