Since my son, who’s under ten, really wanted to play, we spontaneously switched to the family version of the game. He went off to bed happy, and I had to promise we’d play it again first thing tomorrow. The rules are super easy, but there’s still plenty you can get out of it. Plus, the standard version gets a bit more complex too. I also love the distinctive art style. It really feels like a lot of heart and soul was put into this one.
