Die Weiße Burg

Hey, I can't say it with just two players. Play it with three or four. Place the dice. Each new round, roll the dice and place them on the bridge. On your turn, pick up a die (matching color and number) and place it on the board. Depending on where and what it says, you can take another action. That’s the short version, but there’s more to it!

man you can play it really well with two players because you have fewer dice to choose from for solo/2-player mode. the interaction comes from worker placement (snatching dice/fields) and you basically only have 9 actions in the game (3 rounds & 3 dice) – so you can easily get in each other’s way. mechanics: you’ve got dice selection/usage and a kind of engine building/resource management, and despite the dice there’s actually zero luck involved because you can use every die somehow. the resulting combos feel super rewarding. yeah, it takes a bit to wrap your head around everything at first, but after 2-3 plays it’s a blast. so best to jump right back in after the first game!

PS: There's also a duel version of it now. I don't have any experience with it though: https://link.amazon/B0j8Iqz8S

Länger yes: you get 12 moves instead of 9, and with the expansion you can apparently make better chain moves! I did some research!
