A modern and versatile abstract strategy game where the given playtime of 2-8 minutes fits perfectly.
To win, you either need to occupy a same-colored area of 3 stones, place 4 stones in a square, or get 5 in a row.
The advanced variants lock certain squares for the first move.
The back of the board has a 7*7 grid, where the corners may or may not belong to the main play area.
I really like it. You can get properly annoyed with yourself and then win the next game in no time.

Game is nice and all, but I'd love a magnetic version for on the go. That way it doesn't end up in the game cupboard. :(

Really fast-paced. But you only notice all the win conditions after a few rounds. Always good for a quick game
