So with that, you're a top-notch explainer if you explain a complex game so well that they can win right away 😉

I've played this game a bunch of times too. What put me off was that some people say it doesn't work so well with two players. What do you think? Does the game hold you back when you're trying to discover the aliens? (Read the rules)

I think it works well even with two players. But I definitely recommend integrating the expansion. That balances out the scanning action a bit more. The rules for Aliens are pretty straightforward. Sure, you gotta read them when the Aliens are revealed, but it’s not rocket science.

Know it only in pairs and it works great even with the expansion.

I really wanted to like the game too. I'm into astronomy and thought it would be perfect for me and match my interests, but unfortunately it just didn't click. Maybe I had something else in mind. But great that you all like it so much 🙂👍
