Mighty clans are fighting here for the magical throne... the many cards with different effects and costs depending on where they're played have kind of overwhelmed me, especially since you get 6 new cards every round... I think it's smart to have a rough idea of the card effects to avoid too much downtime. I'm still not sure if it's my kind of game.

That was me too! 😊 With the first game, you're a bit overwhelmed by all the different cards and options. Especially since many cards have multiple functions depending on where you play them. You also don't know when it makes sense to move Power Sites from the outer circle to the inner circle. But by the second game, you know the cards a bit better, and then it's fun to discover the possibilities and combos and get an engine running. I also enjoy the combat in the regions with the secret Mana placement on the Mana Disk—it's exciting!

Hey Ralf, yeah that’s exactly how it went for me yesterday 🙈 My husband scored more victory points during the game while I was more active towards the end. In the end, we weren’t far apart. I’m still undecided, but I’ve already agreed to a second round 😄 Let’s see how the back sides of the characters play out.
