内容简介
Lay your cards, snap a photo, and the Quickening happens: your army comes alive! The Quickening is an app-powered boardgame autobattler: 2 players, 10 minutes. (Spoiler alert: nobody plays just one game!) You place your unit cards on the battlefield, snap one photo with your phone, and the app awakens your army: every unit marches, shoots, and recharges on its own, exactly where you dropped it. Every unit has its own brain. Swordsmen chase the nearest enemy. Archers stop and shoot, as long as they can see one. Knights are fast and hungry for the enemy backline, tanks form a slow stubborn wall, catapults lob boulders over everything, and hunters deploy behind enemy lines. The juggernaut shoves your own troops aside on its way to a fortress. Drop a healer where the wounded will be, or a fireball where the enemy is about to clump (it doesn't check whose units are in the blast). Each round you discard as many cards as you like and refill your hand to six. Then you alternate with your opponent, one card at a time, three cards each, placed in your own half of the battlefield. Then snap the photo, watch the fight, learn from it, and play the next round. Terrain bends every plan: forests hide whatever walks in and cut line of sight, mud slows the charge. Guard your two bases, crack the enemy's for points, and keep your hero alive, because losing them loses you the round. Three rounds, most points wins. The box fights too: the lid is printed inside and turns into a 3D arena, where the colossal Outsider waits — taming it turns the tide of the battle. The skytear in your bottle is a liquid, right up until it isn't. The Quickening is the moment it stands up and starts swinging. Your bottle, your army, your problem!
