Saga: Vikings vs Anglo-Saxons is a fast-paced strategy game for 2 players built around area control and action management. Each player takes control of one side, Vikings or Anglo-Saxons, each with unique victory conditions and strategic priorities. At the heart of the game lies the action tile system . Each round, players select actions that will define their turn — but choices are limited, and timing is everything. Each round is divided into four phases: selecting tiles, resolving actions, combat, and end of round. Players will: – move units and fight for control of regions, – recruit and manage their forces, – develop economy through strongholds and resources, – use special actions to disrupt and outmaneuver the opponent. Combat is not just about strength, it’s about preparation, hidden information, and the moment you choose to reveal your leaders’ abilities. Vikings rely on mobility and pressure, gaining resources and pushing forward. Anglo-Saxons build defense, manage economy, and try to withstand the invasion. The game is quick, but every decision matters. There is no room for mistakes. Only for better choices.
